Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rono Dumplings LLC DBA Rono Xia ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information across ronoxia.com and its related sites and subdomains, including operators.ronoxia.com, art.ronoxia.com, shop.ronoxia.com, and books.ronoxia.com (together, the "Sites").

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Sites and provide what you ask for:

• Contact and inquiry information. When you use a contact form or "work with me" form, we collect your name, email address, and the details you choose to share about your project or needs.
• Booking information. When you schedule a call, our booking provider collects your name, email address, and selected time.
• Account information. If you create an account on operators.ronoxia.com, we collect your email address and login credentials (passwords are stored in secure, hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Purchase information. When you buy a product, course, or membership, our payment processor collects your payment and billing details. We never see or store your full card number — payments are handled directly by our processor.
• Email signup information. If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we collect your email address and your subscription preferences.
• Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand general site traffic (such as page views and referring sites) in aggregate. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use personal information to: respond to your inquiries; schedule and hold calls; create and manage your account; process purchases, subscriptions, and refunds; send transactional messages (receipts, account and service notices); send marketing emails you have opted into; and maintain, secure, and improve the Sites.

Service providers we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe handles card data directly).
• Kit (ConvertKit) — email newsletter and marketing.
• MailerSend — transactional email (receipts, account notices).
• Cal.com — call scheduling.
• Privacy-friendly analytics provider — aggregate, cookieless site analytics.

Each provider processes your information under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. Because we do not sell or share personal information, we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share" link — there is nothing to opt out of.

Your choices and rights

• Email opt-out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time; we may still send you essential transactional messages related to your account or purchases.
• California residents. You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at hello@ronoxia.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
• Access, correction, and deletion (all users). You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@ronoxia.com. We will honor these requests as required by applicable law, subject to records we must keep (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting).

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here: account and subscription data for as long as your account is active, purchase records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and inquiry/booking data for a reasonable period to follow up. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Children

The Sites are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@ronoxia.com and we will delete it.

International visitors

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Sites from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
